Extensive flooding occurred in Jiangxi province from Tuesday, June 20, to Thursday, June 29, after heavy rainfall caused local rivers to overflow. Authorities have reported that seven people have died, two are currently missing, and almost 440,000 people have been displaced. According to current forecasts, additional storms and flooding are possible in northern Jiangxi on Saturday, July 1, and Sunday, July 2.

Individuals present in Jiangxi province are advised to monitor the situation, to avoid areas directly hit by flooding, and to adhere to any orders issued by the local authorities. Remember that driving or walking through running water can be dangerous - 15 cm (6 in) of running water is enough to knock over an adult.
