Flight operations at Malta International Airport (MLA) resumed at approximately 16:00 (local time) on Tuesday, January 20, after a temporary closure. All flights in and out of MLA were suspended from 13:15 to 16:00 due to a fire in the arrivals concourse. According to local sources, flights to MLA were diverted to Catania-Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), located in Sicily.
