India: Chandigarh International Airport partially reopens February 27 /update 1

After a 15-day closure for runway work, the Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) will partially reopen on Tuesday, February 27. Nonetheless, disruptions are expected to continue at least through Saturday, March 31, during which time the airport will only operate from 05:00 to 16:00 (local time) Monday through Saturday and be closed on Sundays. According to officials, another runway closure is possible in May, which would be announced in March.
