A signal failure has forced the suspension of all rail traffic to and from Paris’s Saint Lazare station. The outage began around 02:30 (local time) on Wednesday, June 13. Some trains have been re-routed to other stations, including La Défense, Houilles-Carrières-sur-Seine, La Garenne Colombes, and Argenteuil. Reduced timetables, delays, and overcrowding on available trains are to be anticipated in the coming hours. French rail officials continue to ask travelers using the L or J lines, Intercités trains, and TER Normandie services to postpone their trips until further notice. As of 09:30, authorities still do not know when traffic will be resumed.

The cause of the outage remains unknown.
