Spain: National rail strikes from July 27

Workers at Renfe, the national rail operator, and Adif, the national railway infrastructure management company, have threatened to carry out strikes in the coming days and weeks. The first will be held on Friday, July 27, from midnight to 02:00, from 07:00 to 09:00, and from 16:00 to 18:00 (local time). The union behind the action, the CGT, has threatened to continue to continue holding strikes until their demands are met. Reduced timetables, delays, last-minute cancelations, and crowded conditions on available services are likely on strike days.
