India: 16 killed in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh state

On September 1, six died in Shahjahanpur, three in Sitapur, while six more people were killed by lightning. On September 2, emergency personnel are still trying to reach people stranded in Jhansi and Lalitpur due to recent heavy downpours.
