Event

A small homemade explosive detonated on Tuesday, October 2, killing a child and wounding nine other people in a northern Kolkata (West Bengal) suburb. The device exploded in front of the offices of the Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) in Nagerbazar area at 09:00 (local time). A local TMC chairman accused political opponents of planting the explosive.
