France/Spain: Rain alerts in various areas Oct. 10 /update 2

Orange alerts were issued on Wednesday, October 10, for the French departments of Aveyron, Gard, and Hérault (southwestern Occitanie region), as well as for Bouche du Rhône and Var (southern Province-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region). Storms are forecast to bring heavy rain and strong winds to these areas. Heavy rain alerts have also been issued for the northern Spanish provinces of Barcelona and Girona, as well as the southern region of Málaga and the cities of Ibiza and Formentera.

Transportation disruptions and power outages are possible due to potential flooding and infrastructural damage.
