Fiji: Nationwide heavy rain and flood warnings through October 21
Weather warnings in effect for heavy rain and flooding until October 21; expect road disruptions

The Fiji Meteorological Service issued on Thursday, October 18, a nationwide heavy rain warning to remain in effect through October 21. The authorities have further warned of the possibility of flash floods in low-lying areas in Central and Eastern divisions. A flood warning is in effect for these areas along with areas adjacent to the Naqali River, where roads have been closed off to traffic since October 17.
