Spain: Red weather alert issued in Menorca January 24

A red weather alert (the highest on a four-point scale) for high surf and strong winds was issued on Thursday, January 24, along the coast of Menorca. Winds of up to 93 km/h (57 mph), along with waves of up to 10 m (32 ft) have been reported off the island's coast. Severe disruptions are expected in the coming hours.
