Europe/US: One Billion Rising Solidarity events across Europe, US Feb. 14

The One Billion Rising Solidarity movement has organized events on Thursday, February 14, across Europe and the US to protest violence against women and related injustices. Countries in which the rallies are planned include, but are not limited to, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, UK, and the US. Large crowds, increased security measures, and localized traffic disruptions are possible at demonstration sites.
