UAE: Flight disruptions for Dubai Airport (DXB) runway closure Apr. 16-May 30

The southern runway at Dubai International Airport (DXB) will close from April 16 to May 30 for maintenance, resulting in flight cancelations and adjustments. Emirates Airlines announced it will suspend utilization of 48 aircraft and reduce 25 percent of all flights. Other airlines are planning to reschedule flights to use Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), also known as Dubai World Central, located in southern Dubai.
