Russia: Injuries reported after emergency landing at SVO airport May 5

A passenger plane made an emergency landing at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO) on Sunday evening (local time), May 5, resulting in several injuries. Aeroflot flight SU1492 - bound for Murmansk - returned to SVO after a fire broke out while airborne and was evacuated shortly after landing. Unconfirmed reports claim at least five people have been injured. 

Emergency personnel are responding to the incident; the cause of the fire currently unknown. Flight disruptions at SVO - which has limited operations to one runway - are likely over the coming hours.
