Poland: Gdańsk Pride planned for May 25

Gdańsk Pride is slated to take place on Saturday, May 25. The march is expected to draw large crowds and will begin in central Gdańsk (Pomerania province) at 14:00 (local time). Heightened tensions, a heightened security presence, and localized disruptions to traffic are possible over the coming days.

Although recent Pride events have passed without incident, the risk of associated violence between individuals celebrating Pride and counterdemonstrators cannot be ruled out.
