Costa Rica: Healthcare workers to protest in San José on July 4

Event

Members of the National Union of Employees of La Caja and Social Security (UNDECA) are slated to protest in San José on Thursday, July 4, against government tax policy. Protesters will gather at Parque de la Merced at 09:00 (local time).

Associated transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence are expected in the vicinity of the protest. Clashes cannot be ruled out.
