Mexico: Agricultural workers to strike in Mexico City on July 22

Agricultural workers are slated to protest in Mexico City on Monday, July 22, against budget cuts and other governmental proposals. The protest will begin at the Hemicycle to Juarez at 09:00 (local time) and will proceed to the National Palace later on.

Associated transportation disruptions are to be expected near the designated areas of protest. A heightened security presence is possible near all protests, particularly at the National Palace.
