The Emergency Operation Center (COE) of Dominican Republic has issued an alert for 19 provinces due to heavy rain and thunderstorms in the forecast. The areas expected to be most affected are in the northeast, northwest, north, and southwest, particularly the La Vega, Santiago, Espaillat, Monseñor Nouel, and San Juan provinces, where a yellow alert has been issued. The other 14 provinces have been placed under a green alert.

Heavy rain, flooding, and landslides are possible, particularly in mountainous areas.Associated transportation disruptions, including road closures, rail delays and cancellations, and flight delays, are also possible.
