Mexico: At least 14 killed in shootout in Villa Unión (Coahuila state) November 30

The governor of Coahuila, Miguel Angel Riquelme, announced on Saturday, November 30, that at least 14 people were killed in a shootout in Villa Unión (Coahuila state), which is approximately 60 km (37 mi) from the US border. The incident took place around midday (local time) and fighting lasted approximately one hour. Of those killed, four were policemen and ten were suspected drug cartel members.
