Spain: Operations temporarily suspended at Madrid-Barajas airport February 3

The body in charge of airport management in Spain, ENAIRE, announced on Monday, February 3, the temporary closure of Madrid-Barajas airport (MAD) due to the presence of drones in the vicinity of the airport.

All landings and takeoff have been suspended at the airport until at least 14:40 (local time).

Lingering flight disruptions (e.g. delays and cancelations) are to be expected at MAD over the coming hours.
