France: Air traffic controllers to strike nationwide February 5-7

The USAC-CGT union representing air traffic controllers announced that its members will go on strike on Thursday, February 6, to denounce the government's proposed universal pension reform. Flight disruptions are to be expected as early as the evening (local time) on Wednesday, February 5, and into the morning on Friday, February 7. Air France stated that disruptions to its domestic and medium-haul flights are possible on February 6 and 7. If recent strikes are any indication, this round should have little impact on air traffic. 

Flight delays and cancelations should still be expected in French airports across the country during the strike period.
