Sudan: Casualties reported following militia attack near al-Qadarif May 28

A Sudanese military officer was killed and several soldiers wounded on Thursday, May 28, following an attack by alleged Ethiopian-backed militias near al-Qadarif (East Sudan States Coordinating Council). The militias reportedly attacked agricultural projects before clashing with Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in Barkat Noreen camp.
