Poland: Protest scheduled in Warsaw for July 4

The US Embassy in Warsaw has issued a warning for a protest that is scheduled to occur in the Polish capital on Saturday, July 4. Reports state that employees of the Orlen and Anwil companies will gather at the Prime Minister's Chancellery and march along Aleje Ujazdowskie towards the Presidential Palace. The march is due to start between 11:00 and 15:00 (local time) and around 150 people are expected to attend.

A heightened security presence and localized travel disruptions are anticipated in the vicinity of the event.
