Libya: Gunmen kill two and abduct two during separate incidents in Garyan on August 13 and 14

Gunmen killed two people and kidnapped two others in two separate attacks in Garyan (Jabal al Gharbi district) on Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14. On Thursday, gunmen killed a man during a raid and his daughter was abducted. On Friday, an individual was killed and his daughter kidnapped. The deceased reportedly died after being dragged behind a vehicle.

Further violent attacks and kidnappings are likely across Libya over the near term.
