Sudan: Demonstrators to gather in Khartoum October 21

Event

Demonstrators are planning to gather in the capital Khartoum on Wednesday, October 21, to protest against deteriorating socio-economic conditions in the country, as well as to commemorate the Revolution of October 1964. No timings or locations have been announced. 

A heightened security presence and associated disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest site. Clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out.
