An anti-lockdown demonstration is scheduled to take place in the Nowogrodzka area of Warsaw on Friday, November 6. The demonstration is being held to oppose a potential lockdown in the city which is being considered in order to curb the further spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The demonstration has been organized by the far-right Confederation political group. Participants of the demonstration are set to gather outside the Law and Justice party headquarters on Nowogrodzka Street at approximately 19:00 (local time).

Clashes between security forces and protests cannot be ruled out following the current ban on gatherings of more than five people due to COVID-19.

A heightened security presence and associated disruptions to transportation are likely in the vicinity of the gathering in the near term.
