Andorra: Health officials extend coronavirus-related restrictions and measures through at least Feb. 24 /update 5

Andorra extends COVID-19 measures through at least Feb. 24. Travel and business disruptions remain.

Warning

Event

Authorities in Andorra have extended the nation's existing COVID-19-related measures until at least Feb. 24. Under current directives, most businesses are permitted to operate; however, capacity limits remain in effect, as do social distancing mandates stipulating that members of different households keep at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) apart. Public gatherings are restricted to no more than four persons and facemasks are required in all public places, including on urban roads.

Although Andorra's borders remain open, foreign visitors must meet travel requirements set by neighboring France and Spain to reach the country. Tourists staying in Andorra for three days or longer are required to possess evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken within the 72-hours prior to arrival; French and Spanish nationals are exempt from this requirement.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.

Advice

Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Reconfirm all travel arrangements. Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance.
