Andorra eases some COVID-19 domestic measures as of June 17. Travel and business disruptions remain.

Warning

Event

Authorities in Andorra have eased COVID-19-related restrictions as of June 17. Under the new directives, facemasks are no longer mandatory in outdoor public spaces, and competitions and sporting events for all ages can occur.

Most businesses can operate; however, capacity limits, restricted operating hours, and social distancing mandates stipulating that members of different households keep at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) apart remain in effect. Public gatherings are limited to 10 people outdoors and 8 people indoors.

Although Andorra's borders remain open, foreign visitors must meet travel requirements set by neighboring France and Spain to reach the country. Tourists staying in Andorra for three days or more must possess evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before arrival. French, Spanish, and Portuguese nationals are exempt from this requirement, as are travelers from government-designated "green" countries. For the complete list of green countries, click here.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.

Advice

Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Reconfirm all travel arrangements. Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance.
