Clashes reportedly broke out between Brigade 444 and the Stability Support Force in the Salah al-Din area of Tripoli around 04:30 Sept. 3. Reports indicate that gunfire and explosions occurred near the military's Tikbali camp. At least one fatality has been reported. Additional armed groups are reportedly mobilizing following the clashes.

Increased security is likely in the area over the coming hours. Localized transportation disruptions are possible, along with further clashes between the armed groups.
