Authorities have closed main routes surrounding O'Higgins Park, including Avenida Viel and Ruta 5, and traffic is being diverted in the area. Protesters opposing the parade have reportedly gathered along the nearby Avenida Martta, and authorities have used water cannon to disperse crowds.
