Emergency services are responding to the discovery of an unexploded World War II-era bomb in Hall in Tirol, Tyrol State, approximately 7 km (4 miles) east of Innsbruck, Nov. 22. The device was discovered during construction work in the area around Getznerstrasse, near Innsbrucker Strasse. Authorities have cordoned off the area around the unexploded ordnance to facilitate the disposal operation and have evacuated individuals from the vicinity. The incident has also reportedly disrupted train services.

Localized transport disruptions are likely in the affected area of Hall in Tirol at least until authorities have disposed of the device. Residual disruptions may briefly persist after the operation has concluded.
