Hungary: Collision between a truck and passenger train causes casualties in Mindszent April 5

A passenger train derailed after striking a truck at a level crossing in Mindszent, in southeast Hungary, early April 5. At least seven people were killed and around a dozen injured in the incident. The train was traveling between the towns of Szentes and Hodmezovasarhely; authorities have suspended services between these locations until further notice.
