Authorities in the Dominican Republic ease COVID-19-related international travel restrictions as of May 11; no domestic measures in effect.
Event
As of May 11, authorities in the Dominican Republic have eased the country's COVID-19-related international travel restrictions. Under the current directives, travelers are not required to show a negative result from a pre-travel COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination, regardless of the country from which they are traveling or their vaccination status.
No COVID-19-related domestic measures remain in place.
Domestic Measures
COVID-19-related requirements and restrictions on domestic activity are no longer in effect.
International Travel Restrictions
All travelers must continue to complete an entry and exit (E-Ticket) form, which combines the traveler's Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration, and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms.
Unvaccinated passengers may be selected for random testing upon arrival.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
