Authorities are conducting search operations for passengers after locating the missing Tara Air (TB) passenger aircraft 9NAET as of the morning of May 30. The aircraft was reportedly found crashed in the Ward 2 area of Thasang Municipality, Mustang District. It lost contact with air traffic control shortly after departing from Pokhara airport (PKR) at around 09:55 May 29 for Jomson airport (JMO). Three crew members and 22 passengers, including German nationals, four Indian nationals, and 13 Nepali citizens, were reportedly onboard the aircraft.

Emergency crews have deployed to the site. Heightened security and localized disruptions are likely across Thasang in the coming hours. Flight delays are possible at PKR and JMO until operations conclude.
