Officials have eased COVID-19-related measures as of June 20.

Domestic Measures
Authorities continue to require residents to wear protective facemasks but only in pharmacies, health settings, airport and port waiting rooms, and indoor gatherings.

International Travel Restrictions

  • Vaccinated travelers do not longer require a COVID-19 PCR-test to enter the country. Departing vaccinated travelers no longer need to undertake a PCR test if the destination country does not require it as a travel health document.

  • Unvaccinated travelers must undertake a PCR test 72 hours before departing for Comoros.

  • Departing unvaccinated travelers will need to undertake a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before departure, regardless of the destination.

Authorities are likely to amend and implement new restrictions and measures at short notice.
