Increased security and localized disruptions to transport and business are likely in Bint Bayyah, Wadi al-Hayaa District, over the coming hours after a fuel tanker truck caught fire and exploded in the town Aug. 1. The blaze and associated blast, which occurred after the vehicle overturned, killed at least nine people and wounded 76 others.

While authorities have apparently extinguished the fire, residual disruptions are possible as investigations and recovery operations continue.
