Portugal lift the COVID-19-related state of alert effective Oct. 1; minimal restrictions in effect.
Event
Portuguese authorities will not extend the COVID-19-related state of alert beyond its scheduled expiry Sept. 30. Minimal domestic measures will remain in effect beyond this date.
Domestic Measures
Wearing a facemask is mandatory in healthcare facilities.
International Travel Restrictions
All international travelers to mainland Portugal, Madeira, and the Azores, regardless of their origin or purpose of travel, are permitted entry without restriction.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
