Teachers and student activists are demonstrating in front of the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest the evening of Oct. 5. The purpose of the action is to demand better work conditions for education workers.

Transport disruptions will likely continue in the vicinity of Kossuth Square into late in the evening. Although the protest will likely remain peaceful, authorities will almost certainly maintain an increased security presence as a precaution.
