As of early Oct. 19, authorities have issued orange (middle level on a three-tier scale) rainfall warnings across Aveiro, Braga, Coimbra, Porto, Viana do Castelo, Vila Real, and Viseu districts. Additionally, yellow rainfall and strong wind warnings are in place across the remainder of the affected area. Disruptions to electricity and telecommunications services are possible where strong winds impact utility networks.
