Various rail unions, including the Dumriya Nagasitaweema Sandaha Wurthiya Samithi, called off a nationwide strike Feb. 10. Organizers planned to launch an indefinite strike from 00:01 Feb. 10 to demand several concessions, including better working conditions. However, they canceled the strike after reaching an agreement with the Railway Authority.
