Disruptions to transport and business are likely in Nassau Feb. 15-17 as the city hosts the 44th Regular Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Most meetings and events will be at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar resort; regional leaders and special guests are slated to attend the summit, notably including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Heightened security is likely on New Providence Island, particularly around the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar resort, for the duration of the summit. Demonstrations are possible.
