Unionized Easyjet cabin crew have announced industrial action across Portugal for April 1-3. The National Union of Civil Aviation Flight Personnel (SPNVAC) announced the strike in support of improved wages and working conditions. In accordance with Portuguese regulations, Easyjet must provide a minimum service to certain destinations including to Madeira.
The strike will cause delays and disruptions to flight schedules. The impact may continue in the hours following the strike, as aircraft and crews are repositioned and services return to normal.
