Portugal: Unionized bus drivers to hold partial strike in Lisbon April 3-7

Unionized bus drivers employed by Carris in Lisbon are to hold a partial strike from April 3-7. The strike has been called in protest over working hours and pay. As part of the strike, bus drivers will not work for the first two hours and last two hours of normal service, and will refuse to work more than eight hours a day. A minimum level of service will be guaranteed on certain lines, as well as for reduced mobility services. For further information on available services, please click here.
