Greece: National rail strike May 30 to June 1 /update 1
Trainose railway workers to strike May 30 through June 1; no intercity trains and no trains to run between Athens International Airport and downtown Athens

A strike will hit Trainose, the national rail operator, beginning on Tuesday, May 30, and continuing through Thursday, June 1. During this 72-hour period, no intercity trains will run anywhere in the country. In Athens, no Proastiakos suburban trains will run and as such there will be no rail service between Athens International Airport (ATH) and the downtown area.
Associated protests are possible.
Context
The union workers are protesting against the condition of the rail infrastructure as well as poor working conditions.
