ADP opposition party headquarters in Freetown starts on fire after being hit with a petrol bomb on August 29; avoid the area

The headquarters of the opposition Alliance Democratic Party (ADP), located in the center of the capital city of Freetown, reportedly caught fire on Tuesday, August 29. According to the party leader, Mohamed Kamaraimba Mansaray, the fire was caused by a petrol bomb that was thrown into their office earlier in the morning. No casualties have yet been reported. An investigation is currently ongoing to identify the motive and the assailants behind the attack. 

Context

Mansaray founded the ADP in 2015 after breaking away from the ruling All People’s Congress (APC). He was released from prison on June 7, 2017, following accusations on gun-related crimes.
