A strong storm hit Istanbul on Tuesday, August 29, causing heavy flooding. Severe transport disruptions were reported, as ferry services were temporarily suspended and flights both delayed and canceled at Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) and Istanbul Atatürk (IST) international airports.
