The Argentine National Meteorological Service issued a heavy rain alert for several provinces of the country on Friday, April 6. Heavy rainfall is forecast in parts of the provinces of Buenos Aires (including the capital), Córdoba, Entre Ríos, and Santa Fe, as well as other areas along the Río de la Plata, at least until the morning of Saturday, April 7 (local time). Total rainfall accumulations may reach between 4-7 cm (1.6-2.8 in). Localized flooding, power outages, and traffic disruptions are possible in the coming hours.

Individuals present in affected areas are advised to follow weather reports and adhere to any orders issued by the local authorities. In the event of flooding, remember that driving or walking through running water can be dangerous - 15 cm (6 in) of running water is enough to knock over an adult.
