Argentina: Torrential rain in Buenos Aires and La Pampa April 10-11

The Argentine National Meteorological Service issued an alert for Buenos Aires and La Pampa provinces at 02:30 (local time) on Tuesday, April 10. The alert warns of torrential rain and violent storms in the center and south of Buenos Aires and in the east of La Pampa. The storm is expected to continue until Wednesday evening; total rainfall accumulations may reach up to 10 cm (4 in). Localized flooding, power outages, and traffic disruptions are possible in the coming hours.
