Greece: Public transportation strike in Athens June 14

A public transportation strike is taking place in Athens on Thursday, June 14. Bus services will not run from noon (local time) to 17:00, including those serving Athens International Airport (ATH). Trolley bus service will be suspended between noon and 18:00. Finally, the metro will close early, at 21:00. Demand for alternative forms of transportation (e.g. taxis) is likely to increase during the strike periods.
