Yellow and orange heat warnings issued for entire country July 26; take measures to prevent heatstroke

The Netherlands Meteorological Institute has issued orange heat alerts - the second-highest level - nationwide, in effect from Thursday, July 26. A lower yellow alert is in place for the West Frisian Islands. Temperatures exceeding 35°C (97°F) are forecast nationwide from Thursday, and the alerts are currently scheduled to remain in effect through Saturday, July 28. Additionally, yellow storm warnings have been issued in North Brabant, Limburg, and Zeeland through 20:00 (local time) on Thursday evening.
