Spain: Attack targeting a mosque in Ceuta June 24

Event

Two unidentified gunmen attacked the Muley el-Mehdi mosque in Ceuta on the morning (local time) of Monday, June 24. According to the authorities, the two assailants were on a motorbike and fired several shots as people were praying inside the building before escaping. No injuries were reported. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack; investigations are ongoing. Avoid the area.
